Grants
Grants do not need to be repaid! These are need-based funds provided through the U.S Department of Education. Includes the Federal Pell Grant program.
Work-study
Get real world job experience while you work, study, and earn money for educational expenses.
Direct Loans
A last resort in most cases at LSSC, but student loans can be used to cover tuition and fees, books and supplies, housing and food.
Federal Aid Starts with FAFSA
There’s only one way to apply for federal student aid, and that’s with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The amount of financial aid you receive is based on the information you provide on your FAFSA. So, take the time now to fill it out! Need assistance? We’re here.

Grants
As a Sunshine State resident, you may be eligible for the Florida Student Assistance Grant (FSAG) or the First Generation Matching Grant (FGMG).
Scholarships
You may be eligible for one, or more, scholarships funded by the state of Florida and administered by LSSC.
Florida Bright Futures
All that hard work in high school is about to pay off. The Florida Bright Futures Scholarship rewards students for their academic achievements.
Institutional Scholarships
We got you! Institutional scholarships are available to all students who meet the general eligibility criteria. Scholarships include need-based, talent, and service.
Foundation
Thanks to generous LSSC supporters, we’re able to award over $500,000 annually to students. Do you have a 2.0 GPA or above? Then you should definitely apply!
