To get started, choose your student type:
You’re attending a college or university for the first time.
You’re returning to LSSC to continue your educational journey after more than three semesters.
You already have an AA or AS degree or have attended another institution and want to earn a bachelor’s.
You're interested in enrolling in short-term courses or certificate programs for personal or professional benefit.
You’re already enrolled at a college but want to take classes at LSSC that will count toward a degree at your home institution.
You are in the United States for the purposes of pursuing your education on a non-immigrant visa (F-1, J-1, etc.) and want to take courses or earn a degree at LSSC.
The first step to becoming a Lakehawk is completing the LSSC Admissions Application. After you have applied, you will receive an email with your student ID number and Lakehawk email address.
All first time in college and dual enrollment students must complete a New Student Advising & Registration session before registering for classes.
Students that have been Florida residents for at least 12 months must provide documentation to receive the in-state tuition rate.
Submit your official unopened high school transcripts with your graduation date posted or an original GED transcript to the Records Office address below.
PERT, ACT, or SAT test scores should be sent to the Records Office. Applicants who do not have test scores need to take the PERT test.
Log in to myLSSC to review any outstanding fees you need to pay. Ensure your tuition and fees are paid before the first fee payment deadline.

Talk to an Admissions officer at your home institution to determine if you are eligible. They will provide you with their process for transient students.

In your application, submit a financial statement showing your financial support in U.S. Dollars to the Admissions and Records Office. If you have a U.S. sponsor (U.S. citizen or U.S. resident alien) helping you for a portion of the support or all of the financial support, a U.S. immigration form (I-134 Affidavit of Support) is required along with a bank statement from a financial institution.
You must have the equivalent of a United States of America high school diploma. International students must arrange to have complete transcripts from all institutions outside the United States of America evaluated by an evaluation agency at their expense
If English is not your native language, then you must submit acceptable TOEFL scores, which are as follows:
All international students must complete the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) SEVIS I-901 Fee and pay the required fee. The payment receipt for the I-901 Fee is required for an interview at a U.S. embassy. This fee is an addition to the normal fees the embassy may charge.
Proof of health insurance is required before registering for classes. Proof of health and accident insurance should be sent to the Admissions and Records Office by emailing admissionsoffice@lssc.edu.
