Getting a head start? Good for you! Our popular dual enrollment program lets you take post-secondary classes while still in high school. You can even earn career and industry certificates or go ahead and get an associate degree from one of Florida’s public or private universities. You’ll save time and money and be way ahead of the pack. Talk about making good life decisions.

Credits are credits! In many cases if you’re enrolled at another institution, you can take classes at LSSC and have those credits transfer to your home school. It’s an excellent way to save time and money, especially since we offer so many ways to do it in-person, online, or hybrid. Our ultimate goal is to get you the courses and credits you need to be successful. We can make that happen!
We love our international students here! They bring a wealth of cultures and backgrounds to campus, making everyone’s experience that much better. There are a few extra things you’ll need to do to apply and get enrolled, but our admissions staff is ready to help. Once you're here, you'll find a welcoming community that wants to see you succeed.
Just here to learn something new? We love it! Exploring our catalogue of programs and courses is a great way to find your passion, boost your career, collect some credits or just engage your mind. You can do it online, in-person or a combination of both. However you choose to keep your mind and skills sharp, we’re here for it!
Ready to get to work fast? Then we probably have a certificate or endorsement in the industry you’re interested in. You’ll find everything from aviation to healthcare to real estate at LSSC. Some certificates can be earned in as little as six weeks! Our non-credit workforce courses, endorsements, or certificates are designed to meet your career goals and the employment needs of the surrounding area. It’s the perfect partnership!
Let’s keep a good thing going! Since you’re already a student at LSSC, we can easily help you craft a pathway that takes you to the next level. Maybe it’s a Bachelors of Arts in Strategic Leadership or B.S. in Nursing. Or if you’re a student in our Allied Health program, we can get you enrolled in our Associates in Nursing or Medical Lab Tech program. Need a certificate? Then let’s talk about our College Credit Certificate or Advanced Training program. Already have a certificate? Then we’ve got an Associates program for you.
Become a Lakehawk in as early as first grade! Our Early College Programs provide a variety of engaging learning opportunities throughout Lake and Sumter Counties. We have camps and short-term programs, developmental courses, and several ways to earn college credits through our dual enrollment and early college academies. Get ready to take flight!
